If you choose to spend a day or week-end away from the noisy, busy city surroundings, you may take a trip to one of the gorges in the Kyrgyz Krebet (the mountain range to the south of the city) which we offer you.
In some of them you will hardly meet any people at all; in some of them you will be greeted by local nomads. Leave all the problems behind and plunge into the wilderness of the unspoilt nature of the Kyrgyz Mountains
Each of the valleys has its own character and highlights - and each one is spectacular in its own right. Most of them feature spectacular mountain scenery and views, with fast flowing, rushing rivers and a variety of wildlife, fauna and flora. Depending on the season, there is the opportunity to see carpets of yellow, blue, red and white flowers; mountain eagles in flight and, (if you are lucky), a view of mountain goats resting in the sunlight on the rocky mountain slopes.
The trips begin in the early morning - you can be collected from your hotel or met at one of the city center cafes/restaurants. You will be driven from the city to your chosen valley where your guide will escort you through the natural landscape. After lunch, (either a picnic lunch - lunch boxes and mineral water, or a hot meal), you can rest, or explore further, until it is time to meet with your transport again for the return to Bishkek.
Although these itineraries are designed for a single day trip - they can easily be adapted into two or three day itineraries or other variations are possible.
